Hey! I'm James Taylor, an Aussie travel journalist, copywriter, and sometimes-UX writer currently based in Barcelona.

Throughout my time as a freelance writer, I've worked with publications across Europe, the US, and back home in Australia. Some of those publications include Nat Geo Traveller, Conde Nast, World Nomads, Culture Trip, Intrepid, and plenty more. I'm also a guidebook updater with Bradt Travel Guides, and have so far completely updated two of their latest guidebooks: Iceland (2022) and Gascony and the French Pyrenees (2023). 

 

To keep myself even busier, I also work as a copywriter for the wider tourism industry, helping travel companies write compelling landing pages, accommodation and tour descriptions, FAQs, and more.
